🔼 Senior Salute. Prior to tip on Saturday at Trojan Arena, the Troy men’s hoops program honored its four seniors.

In the second half, one of their seniors honored the crowd back as Tayton Conerway’s performance helped the Trojans to a 83-66 victory over Coastal Carolina to stay a game back of first-place and locked in a second-place tie with two other teams.

Conerway had one of his best halves all season in the final 20 minutes, scoring 19 of his 21 points on 8-9 shooting. The senior guard from Burleson, Texas, closed out his final game in Trojan Arena with 21 points, eight assists and six rebounds. He's just the second player in Troy's D-I program history with 20 or more points, eight or more assists and six or more rebounds in a game.

Thomas Dowd finished the night with 18 points and nine rebounds, while Myles Rigsby had 20 points and four rebounds.

🔼 Bye Bye Bye. Not only did the Troy women’s hoops team secure bragging rights on Saturday, they also locked in their 10th consecutive berth in the quarterfinals with a hard-fought 86-71 road win at South Alabama.

Zay Dyer, who leads the conference in rebounding, posted her second straight double-double performance with 23 points and 10 rebounds, pushing her season total to 14.

Ashley Baez secured her 20th game with double-digits in the scoring column with 10 points and four steals.

With two games remaining and a one-game gap between the Trojans and Red Wolves, hope remains of a bye into the semifinals with regular-season champs James Madison.

🔼 Brooms, Please. Second straight weekend at Riddle-Pace. Second straight sweep for the 24th-ranked Trojans.

Troy’s offense continued its electric start to the 2025 season, pouring on 35 runs in the three-game sweep of visiting Northwestern State.

Blake Cavill and Brooks Bryan combined to go 13-for-24 with 11 RBIs and nine runs scored to lead the Trojans, who piled up 42 hits and drew 26 walks to fill the bases all weekend long.

🔼 The Chase Is On. It’s time to lace ‘em up and hunt it down.

While most of the work is kicking off its work week, the Trojan track & field squad will be beginning its quest at the 2025 Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham.

Troy is coming off an outstanding at the Music City Challenge earlier this month and is ready to make some noise against conference foes.

The action begins this morning on ESPN+.
