🔼 Nine Is Fine. Now that’s not a train you hear coming, that’s the Troy men’s tennis team rolling along.

On Tuesday, the Trojans moved to 9-4 this spring with a 6-1 defeat of visiting Spring Hill. The victory is the eighth in the past nine matches for Troy.

🔼 Sluggin’ Shane. After just one weekend of the 2025 season, one thing is clear.

Shane Lewis isn’t playing around in his final year.

The slugging senior outfielder had a monster weekend at the plate to lead #24 Troy to a season-opening sweep of Bellarmine.

The Vicksburg, Miss. native batted .571 with a 2.769 OPS across 13 plate appearances on opening weekend, launching three home runs with one double, five RBIs and six walks. His three home runs are tied for the Sun Belt lead, while his six walks lead the conference.

Pastor has been a key cog in the 9-4 start to the spring season for the Trojans. On Tuesday, he moved to 6-0 this season on the doubles court with Henrique de Brito and helped clinch the match with a straight set victory on the singles court at the #2 slot in the lineup.
