🔼 Pretty In Pink. Sometimes, it’s just about finding a way to win.

On Saturday, that’s exactly what the Troy women’s hoops team did, as Fortuna Ngnawo drew the foul and hit the game-winning free throws with four seconds left to lift the Trojans to an 82-80 victory over ULM.

Now sitting at 12-2 in league play, Troy remains atop the Sun Belt Conference Standings.

Along with her game-winning free throws, Ngnawo led the team with 24 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks and two steals. She claimed her 14th double-double of 2025-26. Zay Dyer also had her 10th straight double-double and 18th of the season on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The starting five all finished in double-figures via Emani Jenkins (18), Ashley Baez (10) and Rachel Leggett (10).

🔼 Connect Four. As weather is warming up, so is the Troy softball team, who stayed hot, winning all four of their games at this weekend’s Cardinal Clash to improve to 8-1 on the young 2026 season.

Seven of Troy’s eight wins this season have come via the run-rule.

The Trojans offense was on full display, pounding out 39 hits in the four games, led by Ella Cunningham, who racked up seven hits for Troy.

🔼 Chart Toppers. There’s no better place to make their own records than the Music City Challenge, right?

The Troy track & field squad got their final prep before the Sun Belt Indoor Championships this past weekend in Nashville and did so by setting three school records.

Benjamin Jaudon (60m hurdles), Antonio Blair (600m) and the women’s 4×4 relay squad all etched their names atop the record books.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is sophomore Ella Cunningham, who led the potent offense of the Troy softball with a 7-for-11 performance at the plate, while driving in seven RBIs in the 4-0 weekend for the Trojans.
