🔼 Happy Baseball Season! The latest edition of Troy Baseball is here as the Trojans hit the road for their first true road opening series since 2005, traveling to Macon, Georgia, for a three-game weekend set against Mercer starting tonight at 5 p.m. The Trojans enter 2026 riding unprecedented momentum after posting a 39-21 record last season that included 14 consecutive weeks ranked nationally and a program-best No. 14 ranking by Baseball America. Unanimous Preseason Sun Belt Player of the Year Blake Cavill leads a veteran squad that added the nation's 19th-ranked transfer portal class, including NCBWA Preseason First Team All-American Nico Azpilcueta, who crushed 20 homers at Stony Brook last season.

🔼 On Base. Troy Softball junior Sophia Jenkins spends a lot of time on base! The infielder brings a .909 on-base percentage into the weekend slate, good for second-best in the nation!

🔼 Wrapping Up. Troy Track & Field travels to the Music City Challenge at Vanderbilt's Multipurpose Facility today through Sunday, riding high after another record-setting performance at the UAB Invite. Faith Jones shattered the school record in the women's 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 8.48, while Jonas Koturenka won the men's 800 meters in 1:52.77 to improve his mark on Troy's all-time list. The meet marks the Trojans' final indoor regular season competition before postseason championships begin.
