🔼 Meet Us In Montgomery. The Troy football team will line up across an old foe next week as the Trojans will compete in the Veterans Bowl in Montgomery, Ala., next Tuesday, Dec. 16 against Jacksonville State.

It will be the first meeting between Troy and Jacksonville State since 2001 and the 64^th  all-time between the two programs, by far the most against any opponent in school history.

Troy has won seven consecutive games in the series, but Jacksonville State leads the all-time series by a 33-28-2 margin, thanks to a run of 13 straight wins from 1954-66.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. at The Historic Cramton Bowl.

🔼 Showtime Saturday. The Troy men’s hoops squad put on quite a show on Saturday at Trojan Arena.

It was a dominant, wire-to-wire win for the Trojans, who blitzed LaGrange, 101-47, with 11 players seeing the court and all 11 scoring at least three points in the contest.

Redshirt freshman Evan Griffin led the way with a career-best 14 points.

The Trojans scored a season-high 60 points in the first half, marking their second-highest scoring output in a regulation game this season. Troy led by as much as 61 at the 12:49 mark of the second half.

🔼 Under The Lights. The breakout season for former Trojan star Kimani Vidal takes centerstage tonight when the Chargers hit the field in Los Angeles to battle the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Vidal has rushed over 100+ yards on three occasions this season, including a career-best 126 in last week’s win over the Raiders.

Kickoff is set for 8:15 on ABC.
