🔼 Wire To Wire. Troy women's basketball played upset from start to finish against Arkansas, 77-69, on Thursday night. The victory awards Troy a third-place finish in the 2024 Cherokee Tournament as it ends nonconference play. Zay Dyer, Shaulana Wagner and Brianna Jackson shined in the victory as the three-headed monster combined for 48 points, 38 rebounds and 11 assists. The win marked Troy’s third against the SEC for head coach Chanda Rigby and the fifth in program history.
🔼 Christmas Special. Catch some weekend basketball and experience Christmas in Trojan Arena as men’s hoops open up conference play against Georgia State at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The team will be having a Christmas sweater t-shirt giveaway as well as $2 tickets, popcorn and soft drinks.
Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is Tori Hester. The 2024 Sun Belt Player of the Year was named to the AVCA All-American Honorable Mention Team after putting together one of the most statistically dominant seasons in the country and in program history. She finished the season leading the Sun Belt in total kills (536), kills per set (5.10), total points (607.5) and points per set (5.79) en route to becoming Troy's all-time leader in kills (1,767) and kills per set (4.05).
