🔼 Having A Three Party. This time of year, it’s tough to compete with Santa for putting smiles on kids’ faces.

On Wednesday, the Troy women’s hoops team did just that, thrilling the local school kids with a record-setting 132-62 victory over Oakwood in a matinee matchup.

Leading the way was Emani Jenkins, who shattered Troy's single-game record for triples in a game with 10. Troy also broke its program records for points (132), 3-pointers (20) and assists (36).

The victory extended Troy’s historic Division-I start to 9-1 this season.

🔼 A Long Awaited Meeting. Mark your calendars now, Trojan fans. This one, we’ve been waiting for awhile to happen.

That’s right, Sept. 6, 2031, the Troy football team will square off with in-state foe Auburn for the first time EVER.

"This is a marquee game that I know will excite our fan base," George said. "This is a great in-state matchup that our fans will travel exceptionally well to, and that will spark great interest from both fan bases. Thank you to Auburn Director of Athletics John Cohen and his staff for working with us to make this game a reality."

Troy has played 27 games against the current makeup of the Southeastern Conference, but never against the school less than 90 miles to its northeast despite Auburn beginning football in 1892 and Troy almost two decades later in 1909. In the early years of the program, Troy played against Auburn's freshman squad and came away with victories in 1931 and 1932.

🔼 Got Our Guy. A new era is officially here for Troy soccer.

On Thursday, Troy has named Jake Wyman as the program's new women's soccer head coach after he led Montevallo to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and three overall in his career with the Falcons.

The 2019 Gulf South Coach of the Year, Wyman, led the Falcons to an 78-36-17 record, playing in one of the top NCAA Division II conferences in the country. Under his leadership, Montevallo advanced to the Gulf South Tournament Championship Game in each of the last three seasons and won a tournament title in 2019.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is, kinda obvious, right? Emani Jenkins lit up the scoreboard in Troy’s historic women’s hoops win on Wednesday, knocking down a program record 10 3-pointers en route to a career-high 31 points. She also added four rebounds, three assists and three steals in the contest.
