🔼 Matinee Magic. An earlier start than usual didn’t slow down the Troy women’s hoops squad as they rolled to a perfect 2-0 start to the 2025-26 campaign with a Thursday afternoon 95-50 defeat of visiting Mississippi Valley State.

Fortuna Ngnawo led four Trojans in double-figures as she continued her torrid start to the season with a team-leading 22 points in the contest. In just her second collegiate game, Saniya Jackson poured in 17 points, grabbed four rebounds and picked up two steals. Zay Dyer notched her first double-double of the year (10 points, 14 rebounds), while Emani Jenkins was the final Trojan in double-digits with 10 points and five boards.

🔼 Leading The Way. Following a three-month tenure as the Interim Director of Athletics, Kyle George was officially named as Troy's new Director of Athletics by Troy University Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr.

Prior to his time as Interim Director of Athletics, George served as Deputy Director of Athletics for External Operations and has been a member of the Troy Athletics Department for nearly nine years.

🔼 Walk It Out. Troy junior running back Tae Meadows has been nominated for the Brandon Burlsworth Trophy, which is given to the top player in the country that began his career as a walk-on.

The Burlsworth Trophy is given to the most outstanding football player in American who began his career as a Walk-On and has shown outstanding performance on the field.

Meadows currently leads the Trojans with 586 rushing yards and four TDs on the season.

🔼 Down The Stretch. With just four games remaining in the regular season, the Troy volleyball team is right in the hunt for a spot in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Tournament later this month.

The Trojans currently have a one game led on Louisiana for the fifth and final division playoff spot heading into this weekend against Southern Miss.
