🔼 The Week Ahead. Even though Thanksgiving is just around the corner, Troy Athletics is ready to show out with three Trojan programs competing throughout the week.
🏀 Men’s basketball will continue its play through the Trojan Turkey Tipoff, facing off against Merrimack on Friday. Buy one ticket, get one FREE thanks to Troy’s Black Friday Special.
🏈 Football will face off against Southern Miss on Saturday at 1 p.m. for Senior Day and Judy Morgan Day at The Vet as Troy honors all of the team’s seniors and Miss Morgan, a member of Trojan football who has served the team for 30 years.
🏀 Sunday will feature both men’s and women’s basketball teams with the men staying at the Trojan Arena to play Eastern Kentucky while the women hit the road to play Mississippi Valley State.
🔼 Good Way To Start. Troy men's basketball kicked off its multi-team event – the Trojan Turkey Tipoff – with a decisive 86-72 win over UTSA on Monday night. Troy had a dominant shooting performance, especially from distance, going 53.9 percent from the field. Myles Rigsby had a season-high 17 points – the most by a Trojan this year – on 5-7 shooting while Jerrell Bellamy had the best game of his career with 15 points.
