🔼 Shake It Up. One week after shaking up the Sun Belt East Division, Troy travels to Louisiana on Saturday, looking to do the same to the West Division when the Trojans take on the Ragin' Cajuns at 4 p.m. The team is coming off a 28-20 win over Georgia Southern last weekend where quarterback Matthew Caldwell is coming off the best performance of his career after completing 26-of-32 passes for 288 yards for four total touchdowns.
🔼 Select Few. Troy men’s basketball’s Tayton Conerway was one of 50 players nationally to be named to the 2024-25 Lou Henson Award Early Season Watch List, an award that is presented to the top player in mid-major college basketball. In 2023-24 he was second on the team in scoring with 11.8 points and was named the Sun Belt Sixth Man of the Year after leading Troy's bench, which finished 14th in the country in points per game.
🔼 Battle Until The End. In one of its longest matches of the season, the Troy volleyball team came up just short on Thursday afternoon in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament, falling to Georgia State 3-2 to put a bow on the 2024 season. The Trojans were once again led by Tori Hester, who recorded 28 kills on .250 (28-11-68) hitting, and outhit Georgia State .207-.203.
🔼 Cold Weather Competition. Hope remains high for the Troy women's basketball program as it ventures 4,381 miles to the Alaska Airlines Center for the 41st Great Alaska Shootout against Alaska-Anchorage, North Dakota State and Vermont. Game one pits the Trojans against the host team Alaska-Anchorage (6-1) for a first-ever meeting at 10:30 p.m. on Friday. The results of day one determine whether Troy competes in the championship or for third place on Saturday against the Bisons or Catamounts.
Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is Sun Belt Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Sun Belt selection, Tori Hester. The senior is the first Troy player to win an individual postseason Sun Belt award and is just the fourth player in the conference's history to be named both Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year in the same season. She led the Sun Belt in kills (508), points (577.5), kills per set (5.08), points per set (5.78) and service aces (40).

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: Devonte Ross!
Ross hauled in his 10th score of the season last weekend; an 11th would be the most by a Trojan since Eric Thomas' 12 in 2013. He ranks third nationally and is 122 yards shy of becoming just Troy's sixth 1,000-yard receiver.
⚔️ Have a great weekend!
