🔼 The Tiger Tamers. Win No. 5 in program history over an SEC team came Thursday afternoon in Mizzou Arena when the Troy women's basketball program dominated Missouri, 100-82, as Zay Dyer scored her 1,000th career point.
For the second consecutive season, the Trojans take down an SEC program after beating Arkansas in 2024 and now, Missouri in 2025. Troy took down Missouri behind 100 points off 10-plus triples.
Emani Jenkins and Leilani Guion each scored 22 points, combining for 11 of Troy's 13 3-pointers. Dyer scored 14 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone on her sixth point of the game. She has scored 795 points at Troy for a total of 1,008. At 5-5, Ashley Baez recorded the Trojans' lone double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The final Trojan in double figures was Fortuna Ngnawo, who reached 10-plus points for the fifth straight game to open the 2025-26 season.
🔼 Movin’ On! Behind a career-high five service aces from Olivia Kwiatkowski, the Troy volleyball team stormed past Marshall 3-1 (16-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-13) Thursday night to advance to the Sun Belt Championship quarterfinals against east No. 1 seed James Madison.
After dropping the first set, the Trojans snapped back to win three straight sets over the Thundering Herd and seal their first Sun Belt Championship win since 2023.
Kwiatkowki's five aces were the most for Troy in a four-set match since 2022, and Troy poured in four more to reach a total of nine service aces. Three Trojans reached double-digit kills – Amiah Butler had 16, and both Kwiatkowski and Kalina Calvillo contributed 11.

🔼 To The Brink. Troy men's basketball suffered a heartbreaking defeat on Thursday night, as USC won on a three-pointer as time expired in triple overtime.
USC's Rodney Rice tracked down a loose ball, passing it to Jordan Marsh who hit the off-balance winner, to pull out the miracle win.
Cooper Campbell led the way for Troy, setting a career high in points (32) and assists (12). The stat line gave Campbell his first career double-double. Victor Valdes added 24 points for the Cardinal and White.

🔼 The Butler Did It. Following one of the most impressive regular seasons in Troy volleyball history, Amiah Butler earned a spot on the All-Sun Belt First Team.
Butler finished the regular season second in the conference in kills per set, putting down 4.60 balls per frame. The number is also good for 13th in the country, while she is 24th and 26th in the nation in points per set and total kills, respectively.
The Pensacola, Fla., native's 3.60 kills per set mark for her career ranks third all-time in Troy history, and she is currently in seventh place in kills.
