🔼 Tough Road Test. The Troy men's basketball team looks to continue its strong start to open its season as they travel to Fayetteville, Ark., for a battle with No. 18 Arkansas tonight. The Trojans have picked up a pair of double-digit victories in the opening week of play, which included a 10-point home win over Toledo and a 17-point win over New Orleans. Through two games, Troy is averaging 81 points per game and holding their opponents to just 67.5 points for the second-best scoring margin in the Sun Belt.
🔼 No Surprises Here. After putting together arguably the most dominant two-match stretch in Troy Volleyball history and becoming the program's all-time kills and points leader, Tori Hester was named the Sun Belt Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. Hester recorded 63 kills in the Trojans’ two five-set wins against Southern Miss, which included the second-most kills in a match in program history with 33 in the first of two matches.
🔼 Honoring The Greats. In conjunction with its annual Men's Basketball Letterwinners Day, Troy Athletics will honor two of the greatest teams in program history on Feb. 1, when the Trojans take on ULM. In attendance will be the 1999-00 and the 2009-2010 teams, along with some of the best players to ever don a Troy uniform.
🗣️ "I look forward to welcoming and celebrating all the players who have helped create the standard of excellence that we strive to uphold in our program…it's a great opportunity for our players to learn what it means to be a Trojan." - Scott Cross, head coach
🔼 Meeting With The Press. Fresh off a week of rest, head coach Gerad Parker met with the media on Monday to talk about the team’s upcoming road game against Georgia Southern.
