🔼 Two and Oh So Good. Troy men's basketball dominated in its first road contest of the season, defeating New Orleans 78-61 on Saturday night. The Trojans got a career night from starting center Jackson Fields who registered his first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Troy also got double-figure scoring from Thomas Dowd (14), Tatyon Conerway (11) and Myles Rigsby (10). After starting 2-0 for the first time in two seasons, Troy continues its four-game road trip on Wednesday night when it heads to Fayetteville, Ark., to take on No. 16 Arkansas.

🔼 No Quit. Trojan volleyball’s Tori Hester shined once again, as she set the program record for all-time kills in Troy's thrilling come-from-behind win over Southern Miss in five sets on Friday night. On her 20th kill of the night, Hester hit 1,672 in her career, breaking the previous record set in 2021, and stands alone atop the Troy record book in kills and points (1,929.5).

🔼 All Fight. The Troy women's basketball team fought against Alabama but fell to the opposition, 94-71, on Sunday afternoon. Despite winning the second quarter, 19-18, and holding the Crimson Tide (3-0) to 10-of-32 from behind the arc, the Trojans fell to a top-25 ranked team in the nation. Ashley Baez led the Trojans on the scoreboard with a third straight game in double-figures (14). She secured a new career-high, going 4-of-4 from deep.
