📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Lightin’ It Up. Hopefully they’ve got some fresh bulbs available for the scoreboard at the Troy Soccer Complex because after Thursday, they might need some new ones are being lit up all night long.

The Trojan offense exploded for a season-high four goals, as Troy took down Louisiana Tech 4-2 in Sun Belt action. The win gives Troy its second of Sun Belt Conference play; the Trojans have now won back-to-back conference matches for the first time since the 2019 season.

Troy also produced season highs in both shots (18) and shots on goal (9) as four different Trojans found the back of the net.

Taylor Richards turned in another impressive performance in net, making a season-high nine saves.

🔼 Slight Shift. With impending weather hitting the area, the Troy volleyball team made a slight shift in its opening game of back-to-back battles with ULM.

After winning three of its first four Sun Belt matches, the Trojans will be looking to continue its strong start to the league slate against ULM.

🔼 Movin’ On. Just four months after watching his alma mater reach the College World Series, former Troy standout Brandon Lockridge is now just four wins away from reaching the MLB World Series.

Lockridge joined the Milwaukee Brewers midway through last season and this week, advanced to the National League Championship Series to take on the reigning champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

The former Trojans battled injuries throughout the 2026 season, playing in 39 games for the Brew Crew, hitting .277 with 12 RBIs and six stolen bases.

🔼 On The Horizon. As new Troy men's basketball head coach Adam Howard and his assistants began assembling a roster, it was a fine balancing act of finding not only talented players, but ones who represent the program in the right way.

"To have this many new guys and to have as few problems as we've had on and off the floor, I think speaks to the character of the guys we have in here on our staff and to the guys they were able to recruit and bring in that we want to be around," Howard said.

"They've hit the ground running and answered every challenge that we've thrown at them. I've been very proud of the character and work capacity that this group has.”

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is fifth-year standout Alaina Uncapher, who helped lead a dominant offensive performance by the Troy women’s soccer team on Thursday night. Uncapher scored the game’s first goal and assisted on the second goal as the Trojans rolled to a 4-2 conference victory.
