🔼 Belt Secured. Tucker Kilcrease turned in one of the most complete performances of his career, and Troy walked away with the Belt yet again. The junior quarterback threw for 203 yards, rushed for 102 and accounted for three touchdowns as Troy outlasted in-state rival South Alabama, 31-24, in overtime Saturday night before 28,035 fans at The Vet.

The victory marked Troy's (3-2, 1-0 SBC) seventh in the last eight meetings against the Jaguars and its first overtime win since 2013.

It also came in front of one of the largest home crowds in program history – the seventh-highest attendance ever at The Vet and the second-largest for a Sun Belt game.

🔼 Friday Night Thriller. The fun didn’t start for the Trojans on Saturday night at The Vet, it started the night before inside Trojan Arena.

Amiah Butler's finished just two kills shy of her career high, finishing with 22 (22-7-48) on an efficient .312 hitting percentage while also adding eight digs and three assists. Jordan Sinness filled the stat sheet as well, recording her first double-double of the season with 23 assists and 11 digs.

🔼 Points Taken. Freshman Isabella Hartofelis couldn’t have picked a better time for her first collegiate goal as her tally in the 58th minute of Sunday’s road match at Georgia Southern helped Troy secure another point in conference play with a 1-1 draw against the Eagles.

Troy keeper Taylor Richards continued her outstanding season in the net, racking up a career-best 14 stops on the day, marking the highest single-game save total by a Trojan since 2019.

🔼 Runnin’ Wild. Troy cross country captured multiple top 10 finishes this past weekend at the Azalea City Classic, with both the women's and men's teams placing third overall at Langan Park.

Caden Blackman led the Trojans with a third place finish in the men's 8k with a time of 22:58.0.  Lane Watson followed close behind in fifth at 23:13.0.

On the women's side, Makenna Calbert paced Troy with a fourth place finish in 18:28.5, while Arianna Elder followed in seventh at 18:57.0.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is junior goalkeeper Taylor Richards, who piled up 14 saves on Sunday at Georgia Southern. It’s the highest single game total by any Sun Belt keeper since 2021. Her 66 total saves so far this fall ranks in the top-20 nationally.
