🔼 Senior Salutin’. There was no better way of honoring its seniors than keeping postseason hopes alive and that’s exactly Troy women’s soccer did on Sunday with a thrilling 2-1 home victory over Arkansas State.

The Trojans conceded a goal to the Red Wolves in the first half, but responded after the break with goals from Grace DeShetler and Alaina Uncapher. Taylor Richards led the defensive effort with four saves in the victory.

With only one regular season contest remaining, the Trojans sit in a tie for the final two playoff spots in next month’s Sun Belt Championship, and just a point up on two other squads.

Troy is looking to qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2021.

🔼 High Five! Troy volleyball gave the home crowd a thrill on Friday night, batting their way to a five-set victory over South Alabama (17-25, 25-16, 15-25, 25-20, 15-10) to improve to 8-2 in league play.

Troy delivered a complete team performance in front of returning Trojan alumni.

Four players — Olivia Kwiatkowski, Isa Ruether, Kalina Calvillo, and Ashlynn Axtell — reached double-digit kills, marking just the second time this season Troy has featured four players with 10-plus kills. The Trojans were equally dominant from the service line, as five players recorded at least one ace, led by Calvillo's match-high four.

Kwiatkowski's impact was felt across the court as the junior standout recorded her first double-double of the season, posting a team-high 14 kills alongside 11 digs. Defensively, the Trojans stepped up when it mattered most, locking down in the final frame to hold the Jaguars to a -.045 hitting percentage.

🔼 One Week Away. A new season of Troy basketball tips off next Monday, November 2, as both Trojan programs are set to begin their 2026-27 campaigns with MAC-Sun Belt Challenge matchups.

The Troy men's team, led by first-year head coach Adam Howard, welcomes UMass to Trojan Arena at 6 p.m. CT as the Trojans begin their pursuit of a third consecutive Sun Belt regular-season and tournament championship.

Coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and five straight 20-win seasons, Troy will look to a bevy of new faces to continue the winning ways.

Meanwhile, the Troy women's team opens on the road against Kent State on Monday at 6 p.m. CT, beginning its quest for a fourth consecutive postseason appearance under head coach Chanda Rigby.

Featuring a young but talented roster, the Trojans will look to build early momentum before returning home to face Thomas University on Thursday, November 5.
