🔼 They’re Bacckkkk. Trojan hoops season is less than two weeks away and the Trojans are ready to defend their title.

Dowd returns to Troy after a breakout sophomore season in which he averaged 9.6 points and led the Trojans in rebounding with 6.9 per contest.

Troy's fourth-place finish in the preseason poll marks the second straight year the Trojans have been tabbed within the top five spots, following a third-place selection last season.

🔼 Doublin’ Up. For the first time this season, three Troy players recorded double-doubles as the Trojans knocked off Arkansas State, 3-1.

Amiah Butler tallied 18 kills and 10 digs for Troy, while setters Jordan Sinness and Madison Marx both finished with 11 digs and 23 and 22 assists, respectively.

Kalina Calvillo fueled the service game for the Trojans, who ended the match with 10 aces. Calvillo provided timely service runs and ended both the third and fourth sets with an ace.

🔼 Oh What A Night. It will be a night former Troy standout Kimani Vidal never forgets.

For the second time in three weeks, Vidal pounded the rock for over 100+ yards rushing, finishing with 117 yards on 23 carries in the Chargers’ 37-10 victory over Minnesota on Thursday Night Football.

The night also included Vidal’s first career rushing TD and third ever NFL score.

🔼 Battling The Best. The youngster did alright.

Teeing it up amongst a field that had six of the country’s top-15 teams, true freshman Constanza Quiroga fired a 2-over 74 in Wednesday's final round of The Ally at the Old Waverly Golf Club as she carried Troy's top bag for the second time this fall.

Quiroga and Victoria Stutts carded seven birdies over the three rounds to pace the Trojans, while Laura Fangmeyer added five. Quiroga played one of the steadier tournaments in the field, tying for sixth with 38 pars.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is our guy, Kimani Vidal. Earning an opportunity to start, the former Trojan standout has made the most of his moment, posting two 100-plus yard rushing performances in the past two weeks, including his first-ever NFL rushing TD in last night’s victory over Minnesota.
