🔼 Streakin’ To Six. Troy volleyball continued its impressive run over the weekend, sweeping a two-match road series against Louisiana Tech to extend its winning streak to six matches.
The Trojans opened the weekend Friday with a hard-fought 3-1 victory (24-26, 25-18, 26-24, 25-22). Olivia Kwiatkowski led the offense with a season-high 14 kills, while Kalina Calvillo added 13, Ashlynn Axtell contributed 12 and Isa Ruether finished with 10. It marked the first time this season that four Troy players recorded double-digit kills in the same match.
Troy carried that momentum into Saturday's showdown, completing the weekend sweep with a convincing 3-0 victory (25-23, 25-16, 25-21). Calvillo paced the Trojans with 12 kills, followed by Ruether with 11 and Kwiatkowski with 10.
The Trojans were dominant at the service line, collecting 19 aces on the weekend.
Troy will look to extend their winning streak when they return home to face South Alabama in a two-match series Thursday and Friday at Trojan Arena.
🔼 Roundin’ It Out. Head coach Adam Howard has rounded out his initial Troy roster with the addition of Northern Kentucky transfer Donovan Oday.
Oday comes to Troy following a breakout year in his lone season with the Norse, averaging 18.6 points en route to earning Horizon League All-League Second Team honors.
An Arlington, Texas native, Oday scored 30-plus points on three occasions last season, including a career-high 38 points against Robert Morris. Oday recorded 12 games with at least 20 points and finished with fewer than 10 points in just one game.

🔼 World Series Bound. Troy Baseball is back in the World Series!
This time, it’s the MLB version with former Troy standout Brandon Lockridge and his Milwaukee Brewers teammates sweeping their way past the two-time reigning champion, Los Angeles Dodgers late last week.
The former Trojans battled injuries throughout the 2026 season, playing in 39 games for the Brew Crew, hitting .277 with 12 RBIs and six stolen bases.
🔼 Sweepin’ Samford. Troy baseball capped off an action-packed doubleheader against Samford with a sweep on Saturday, delivering a pair of exhibition thrillers in front of the home crowd at Riddle-Pace Field.
Over the two games of the doubleheader, the Troy arms combined for 18 strikeouts to just three walks. The bats picked up 28 hits, 28 RBIs, 11 walks, and seven homers.
🔼 Connect Four. With only three regular season matches remaining, every point is crucial in the Sun Belt standings for Troy women’s soccer.
On Saturday night, the Trojans added another point in those standings earning a 1-1 draw against ULM to extend its unbeaten streak to four matches.
First-year Aiden Bailey provided the scoring for the Trojans, netting her first career goal in the 17th minute.
Goalkeeper Taylor Richards made six saves, bringing her season total to 75.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is third-year standout Olivia Kwiatkowski, who put together the best weekend of her season to help the Troy volleyball program to a series sweep at Louisiana Tech.
