🔼 Last But Not Least. The 2024 regular season will come to a close this morning when the Troy cross country team competes in the FSU XC Invitational. An 8k opens the meet for the men's side at 7:40 a.m. before the women compete in their third 5k of 2024 at 8:20 a.m. The last time out, both sides collected top-10 finishes for the second time this year, with the men securing a sixth-place finish (218) and the women finishing ninth (240).

🗣️ "After excellent performances at the Georgia Tech meet last week, we'll look to capitalize on the momentum and come away with more personal bests." - Brian Cunningham, head coach

🔼 ‘Til The End. The Troy soccer team dropped a back-and-forth match against Texas State Thursday night, coming away with a 2-1 loss. The Bobcats opened the scoring with a goal in the 58th minute, but the Trojans kept pushing the pace offensively and scored their first goal in Sun Belt play on a corner kick by Dolce Villaflor in the 79th minute. Ultimately, the game-winning goal was scored in the 83rd minute to send Troy home with a loss. Troy outshot Texas State 11-9 and had six shots on goal to Texas State's three, and the three Texas State shots on goal were the fewest Troy has allowed in a match this season.

🔼 Open Season. A pair of Trojans represented the Troy women's tennis program during the opening day of the ITA Southern Regional qualifying round on Thursday. Both Emiliana Namyslo and Valeriia Avdeeva competed against SEC programs with both Trojans coming up just short in singles play. Doubles open tomorrow's competition as Maria Guirguis, Avdeeva, Gabrielle Leslie and Namyslo battle at 9 a.m.
