🔼 All Guts. Sometimes, it’s just about finding a way to win.

On one of the toughest shooting nights of the season, the Troy men’s hoops team gutted out a tough double overtime win at Old Dominion, 83-77, on Wednesday night.

Once again, Thomas Dowd provided some heroics, knocking down a fadeaway jumper in the final seconds to force OT, which the Trojans eventually pulled out the victory.

Troy, who improved to 7-1 in league play, received double-double performances from Dowd and Theo Seng. Seng tied a career-high in points with 24 and added a career-best 14 rebounds. Dowd delivered another dominant performance with 12 points and 15 boards.

🔼 Get Your Popcorn Ready. For the first time since 2022, Trojan Arena will be front and center for a nationally-televised game.

Troy men’s hoops game against Akron next month has been elevated to ESPN2 and will now be tipping off at 5 pm CT from Trojan Arena.

The game marks the third season in a row that Troy has played a regular season game on a linear ESPN network.

🔼 Making An Impact. With their spring season less than a month away, the Troy men’s golf team spent some time off the course this week, making an impact in the community.

In yet another double-double performance, Dyer poured in 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against Georgia Southern on Thursday night. With her performance, she reached 1,000 career rebounds becoming an member of the exclusive 1,000-point, 1,000 rebound club. She currently ranks 15th among active Division I players in career rebounds with 1,008.
