🔼 Hmm Hmm Good. In a battle of two of the top teams in the Sun Belt, Troy men’s hoops sent a clear message on Wednesday night with a dominant 91-65 victory over Southern Miss.

Cobi Campbell had a career night with 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting, including 6-of-9 from long range. Victor Valdes continued his strong season with a 19-point outing, marking the eighth time this year that Valdes has scored 15 or more points.

Defensively, the Trojans disrupted the Golden Eagles all night long, finishing with 14 steals in the contest.

🔼 There She Goes Again. If you look up “double-double” in the dictionary, you may soon find a picture of Zay Dyer.

The Troy women’s hoops star led a second-half spurt to help the Trojans to a hard-fought 86-80 road win at ULM on Wednesday night to move to 14-3 on the year and 5-1 in league play.

Dyer recorded her ninth double-double of the season with a 24-point, 13-rebound performance. 16 of her 24 points came in the second half on Wednesday.

Fortuna Ngnawo (12), Ashley Baez (15) and Rachel Leggett (14) all finished in double-figures for scoring, erupting in the second half with 10, eight and eight points, respectively. As a team, Troy shot 50.7 percent from the floor, including 60.6 percent in the second half.

Baseball and Softball Fan Day is set to return on Jan. 31 ahead of the Troy men's basketball matchup against App State at Trojan Arena.

Tip-off is scheduled for 3:33 p.m., with Fan Day taking place from 2:30–3:30 p.m. on the Trojan Arena concourse. Fans can pick up free baseball and softball posters, meet the Troy baseball and softball teams for autographs and enjoy complimentary Conecuh sausage dogs while supplies last. The Troy baseball and softball teams will also be recognized on the court during the men's basketball game.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is, of course, Cobi Campbell. Campbell’s 30-point performance on Wednesday night is the second-highest single-game total of the season, next to only his brother, Cooper, who scored 32 against USC back in November.
