🔼 Diamond Dandies. We are a month away from the return of Troy baseball and expectations are high for the Trojans.

Those expectations aren’t just high here on campus, but nationally as the Trojans earned a #25 ranking in the preseason poll heading into the 2025 season.

This marks the first time in program history that Troy will enter season with a national ranking next to their name.

The Trojans reached new heights during the 2024 campaign with a No. 21 national ranking, its first since the 2013 season. With a third-place finish in the Sun Belt Conference, Troy went 37-22 on the season and is 109-68 in the last three seasons under Skylar Meade, the most wins in the first three seasons for any Troy head coach.

🔼 Runnin’ It Back. It was so nice, she’d thought she’d run it back for another time.

After the week she had, it should come as no surprise that the Sun Belt Player of the Week is once again, Zay Dyer.

The junior forward improved on her player of the week numbers from last week, averaging 20 points, 16.5 rebounds and a block. She also had an impressive shooting split, going 56.7 percent from the field, 60 percent from deep and 75 percent from the line.

The Atlanta native returned home to cap off a 2-0 weekend and extend Troy's win streak to four. Against Georgia State, Dyer shot 8-of-15 to lead Troy in scoring (18) and had six offensive rebounds to finish with 17 total. She opened the week at App State, ending with her fourth game with 20-plus points (22) – she also ended with 16 rebounds.

🔼 Welcome To The Fam. The future of Troy football got a little brighter this week.

On Monday and Tuesday, the Trojans welcomed to groups of transfers for a total of 11 new faces joining the program this spring.

The initial wave of players include six with Power 4 experience, a double-digit game starter in the best conference at the FCS ranks a pair of deep threats and a lockdown corner, oh yeah, and a two-time CFP National Champion.

🔼 Pull Up A Chair. You know those old fireside chats from decades ago?

Well, think that, but at the golf course and you’ve entered Greenside Chats with the Trojans.
