🔼 Three’s Company. Winning on the road in league play is never easy, but if you watched the second quarter of Thursday’s game at App State, you wouldn’t know it.

The Troy women’s hoops squad used a dominant second quarter to bring home a decisive 85-68 victory over the Mountaineers, handing App State it’s first loss in league play this season.

For the second time in a week, the Trojans had two players end the game with 20-plus points. Zay Dyer led the way with her ninth double-double on a 22-point, 16-rebound performance – the only SBC player with 5-plus double-doubles. Ashley Baez was close behind with her 13th game in double-figures, setting a career-high on 9-of-14 shooting for 20 points. She also led Troy with four steals. For the first time in her career, Briana Peguero recorded a double-double (13 points, 10 assists).

🔼 Pounding The Books. There was plenty of success on the field this past fall for the Trojans, but that wasn’t the only place Troy student-athletes put in work.

Nearly 400 student-athletes combined to post a 3.12 grade point average during the Fall 2024 semester.

Well done Trojans!

🔼 Tick, Tick, Tick... While it may not feel like baseball season outside right now, the Trojans will be back on the diamond before you know it!

Troy baseball is just 3️⃣5️⃣ days away folks!

Wearing #35 this spring is reliever Jay Dill, who joined the Trojans last year after two seasons at Clemson. Dill made 19 relief appearances last year for Troy, the second-most on the squad.
