🔼 Hear Ye, Hear Ye. Troy Athletics Fan Day is back in 2024 with a new twist as Troy Volleyball and Troy Soccer will host their own Fan Day in conjunction with their home openers, while Troy Football will host Fan Day on Aug. 17 at The Vet.

🏈 In the morning of the 17th, Troy Football will host a portion of open practice, meet and greet with coaches and student-athletes, and provide food and fun along with the annual Football Kickoff Party in the Trojan Arena at 6 p.m. on August 17.

⚽️ Following the season-opening match against Eastern Washington on August 15, fans will be invited down to the pitch to meet the Trojans and get their official 2024 Troy Soccer schedule poster autographed by the Trojans.

🏐 After hosting Cal Poly in the season opener on September 7, Trojan Volleyball will invite fans down to the court to meet the student-athletes and get their official 2024 Troy Volleyball schedule poster autographed by the Trojans.

🔼 C-A-M-P, It’s Time For Camp! Troy Football opens fall camp today with the first of 12 practices before school starts in the middle of August.

🗣️ "I couldn't be more pleased with our summer. The work put in by our players and staff has put us in a good position heading into fall camp. I told the guys before they left for this little break that we are starting the fourth quarter of our year. January to February is the offseason, the second quarter is spring practice, the summer is the third quarter, and now it's time to bring it home…We're excited to get going and see the fans of Troy back in The Vet soon.”

Parker will have 12 practices and 14 days with his team before classes resume on Aug. 14 for the fall semester. The Trojans will break practices into three four-day blocks as they work towards the season opener against Nevada on Aug. 31.

🔼 Watch Out. After Troy saw two of its players selected in the 2024 MLB Draft earlier this month, D1Baseball released its top 100 college prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft, and Troy catcher Brooks Bryan (No. 22) and infielder Peyton Watts (No. 98) highlighted the list. Troy is one of three mid-major programs to have multiple players featured in the rankings, and the only program from the Sun Belt Conference.

31 days until kickoff, Troy Football fans!

Last season, the Trojans knocked off conference foe Texas State, 31-13, on the road for the team’s sixth win of the season and 12th straight win over the Bobcats. Quarterback Gunnar Watson aired it out for three second-half touchdowns and finished with nearly 400 yards and three scores.

Countdown to Kickoff is brought to you by Conecuh Sausage. Conecuh Sausage is made in Alabama, it’s great on the grill and a fan favorite for tailgating. Conecuh Sausage, the Official Sausage of Troy Athletics.
